Job Title: RN Surgery Profession: RN Surgery Specialty: RN Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Level 3 trauma center experience - Ability to run 5-7 rooms - Call response within 30 minutes - Willingness to take call typically 1 day per week and 1 Saturday or Sunday per month Description: This position is in a Level 3 trauma center. Service lines include orthopedic trauma, orthopedics, ophthalmology, podiatry, general surgery, robotic surgery, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, pain management, urology, and cardiology. The nurse will be responsible for running 5-7 surgical rooms 5 days a week. Call responsibilities are divided equally among staff members based on job grade. The nurse must respond to call within 30 minutes of being notified. Typically, nurses take call 1 day each week and either 1 Saturday or Sunday each month.
