Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems
• Support maintenance activities for process equipment, utilities, HVAC systems, pumps, motors, and instrumentation
• Read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, equipment drawings, and technical manuals
• Complete maintenance work orders and documentation within a CMMS system
• Assist with equipment startup, commissioning, and operational support activities
• Maintain compliance with GMP, safety, and company procedures
• Support investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and root cause analysis efforts as needed
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and quality teams to minimize equipment downtime
• Assist with spare parts identification and inventory support
• Provide technical support and training to team members when needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or military technical training preferred
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, food manufacturing, or other regulated industries preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience working with pumps, motors, pneumatics, HVAC systems, utilities, or process equipment
• Familiarity with CMMS systems such as SAP, Maximo, or similar maintenance software
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and equipment drawings
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to support shift-based manufacturing operations as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• GMP or cleanroom manufacturing experience
• Aseptic or fill/finish manufacturing experience
• Calibration or instrumentation experience
• PLC or controls troubleshooting experience
• Experience supporting highly automated manufacturing equipment
