Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Location: Tucson, AZ

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a Level I Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency nursing and previous experience in a travel setting, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in a Level I Trauma setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols and patient needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting all findings accurately.
• Assist with overflow inpatient holds in the ED, as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an ED Registered Nurse.
• Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center and a hospital with 500+ beds is preferred.
• Active Arizona RN license with no hits.
• Current certifications: PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS from approved vendors.
• Must be willing to start on the listed start date or no more than one week later.
• Driver's license to verify residency is required.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
