Emergency Department Nurse

Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Southern California

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at our hospital in Southern California. Necessary Special Requirements:

• Must possess and maintain a current, valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California
• Must have a current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification by first day of employment
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNO) certification
• Depending upon area of assignment, additional specialty experience and/or certification(s) may be required.

Additional Requirements:

• Requires two (2) years of full-time professional registered nursing experience including two (2) years of full-time experience in assigned hospital specialty area.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Nursing, education, or another related field
• Experience presenting educational programs
• Advance computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Power Point, Excel)
• BLS, ACLS, and/or PALS instructor certification
