Angiographer - Cardiology Casual PRN

The salary range for this position is $39.00 - $59.66 (Hourly Rate). Placement within the range is dependent on relevant work experience and internal equity. For union positions, placement follows collective bargaining agreement guidelines. Description The Angiographer II position reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Operate cardiac cath lab equipment, including x‑ray units, monitors, and hemodynamic units. Operate angiography equipment. Coordinate and prioritize in emergent or critical patient situations. Maintain efficiency in use of supplies and equipment while preserving sterility during procedures. Assist in assessment of patient condition throughout procedures. Utilize technical and clinical skills to assist the physician during procedures, ensuring patient safety. Monitor all procedure functions to prevent adverse outcomes. Alter examinations relative to patient status to achieve optimal outcomes. Provide the physician with accurate clinical diagnosis and patient history documentation. Work with the physician to provide optimal exam for accurate diagnosis. Coordinate schedule for optimal equipment utilization and patient flow. Maintain adequate supplies and workspace for efficient daily operations. Maintain quality control for all equipment per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines. Start IVs as indicated for contrast injection with proper documentation. Show knowledge of developmental principles across lifespan and assess patient data accordingly. Perform other duties as assigned.
