What You’ll OwnAs an Occupational Health Medical Examiner - Mobile, you deliver high-impact, performance-driven medical clearance exams where teams work—fire stations and industrial sites. This role exists to keep employees mission-ready through consistent, standards-based assessments in a high-tempo operation.
Responsibilities:- Conduct occupational physical exams including HAZMAT, Silica, Coke Emissions, Respiratory, and DOT medical card exams
- Review testing results and health histories, identify risk markers, and refer employees to their PCP when follow-up is needed
- Support onsite testing flow with the field team to meet client timelines and quality expectations Required qualifications:
- Active PA/NP/MD licensure (multi-state licensure a plus)
- Ready for 100% travel with overnight stays; occasional weekend day
- Strong, clear communication with clients and peers

Most weeks start from a hotel, then you travel with Medical Assistants or Occupational Health Techs to the day’s fire station or facility. You help get equipment in place, meet the site contact, and set expectations during morning introductions. From there, your focus is steady throughput and accuracy—moving exam to exam while keeping documentation clean and decisions consistent. You’ll rotate across different environments and crews, adjust to site constraints, and finish the day ensuring the team is aligned on next steps and timelines.
