The Sanmina facility in Austin, Texas provides precision machining and mechanical assembly services to customers. Precision machining capabilities include vertical milling, horizontal milling, and turning on a wide range of materials including aluminum, copper, composites, stainless titanium, and high alloy steel with a milling envelope of up to 60" x 50" x 40". The facility specializes in high-mix, low volume production and also offers sub-assembly, integration, New Product Introduction services, and clean roomassembly.


Job Purpose:


Sanmina is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Assistant to temporarily support the Plant Manager. The role requires a proactive professional who can balance traditional administrative duties with the technical demands of a data-driven environment. We are looking for a tech-savvy Administrative Assistant who loves a clean spreadsheet as much as a perfectly managed calendar. If you are a problem-solver who enjoys turning messy information into organized, actionable data, this is a position for you.


Nature of Duties Responsibilities:

• Provides administrative and clerical support to relieve department managers or staff of administrative details.
• Maintaining and updating master spreadsheets.
• Creating weekly/monthly reports using pivot tables and vlookup/xlookup to summarize large datasets for management.
• Data cleaning. Standardizing messy data (removing duplicates, reformatting dates or splitting strings)
• May coordinate messages, appointments, and information to callers.
• Researches, compiles and proofs word processing assignments.
• May be assigned to various functional areas of the company.

Education and Experience:

• Requires a minimum of 1-2years of MS Office experience especially Excel
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• New College GradPreferred.
• Strong MS Office experience especially Excel
• Good communication skills.
• High attention to detail and time management.
• Must be an organized individual.

This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
