Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.POSITION SUMMARY: The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education:High School/GEDLicenses/Certifications:American Heart Associate BLS for healthcare provider CPRCertified Nursing Assistant in the State of Work, OR; EMT-B, License in the State of IllinoisPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:6 or more months experience in a clinical healthcare environmentAble to communicate effectively in person; by telephone; and computer messaging6 or more months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patientsOSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
