Electrical Maintenance Technician

Shifts/Hours: Monday - Friday (weekends as needed), 8AM to 5PM

Pay Rate: $18/hr during training, $23-$26 post hire

Location: Wharton, Tx

Experience: Entry Level (must be able to pass an electrical test)

Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technician Job Duties:

• Assist senior maintenance technicians and learn correct procedures and techniques to repair plant equipment
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment
• Interpret and understand mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings 
• Install new equipment and projects
• Provide own hand tools to make repairs
• Complete daily equipment reports, work orders and log book data entry
• Must be able to work a rotating shift and work outside production schedules to complete emergency, scheduled or PM repairs

Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technician Required Skills:

• Experience with electrical equipment
• Use of Electrical Troubleshooting and Repair equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, surge testers, megohmmeters, and other hand tools
• Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team
• Associates degree or tech school certifications in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical Technology or equivalent experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Must complete a written electrical test or mechanical test as part of the application
