Application Deadline:10/08/2026Address:100 King Street WestJob Family Group:Wealth Sales & ServiceThe Regional Support Manager, Estate and Trust for GTA provides leadership and operational oversight to the support professionals serving the Greater Toronto Area Trust business.Reporting to the Regional Director, Trust, GTA, the Regional Support Manager leads, coaches, and develops the Trust professional support team and helps ensure the consistent delivery of timely, accurate, and high-quality support to Trust Officers, internal business partners, and clients.The role supports the achievement of GTA Trust business objectives by strengthening team capabilities, managing capacity and workflow, improving processes, reinforcing risk and compliance practices, and enabling an integrated, high-touch client experience.The Support Manager also contributes to the GTA Trust strategy, business planning, revenue growth, employee engagement, and the continued evolution of the regional business.The Support Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the GTA Trust team, ensuring that processes are executed efficiently, consistently, and in accordance with regulatory and internal compliance requirements. includes tracking metrics and milestonesCoordinates the management of databases; ensures alignment and integration of data in adherence with data governance standards.Monitors and tracks performance of the trust support professionals and addresses any issues.Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reportsEnsures the effective implementation of Bank initiatives and programs.Models a mindset for continuous improvement and champions alternatives.Builds change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives.Leads or participates in defining the communication plan designed to positively influence or change behaviour.Prepares documentation of compliance monitoring and risk assessments, and findings to management as per guidelines.Executes administrative reviews and filings according to Bank policies and procedures.Leads the execution of operational programs; assesses and adapts as needed to ensure quality of execution.Acts as a subject matter expert on business applications/systems.Monitors operational controls to identify any deficiencies and supports the initiation of appropriate corrective actions to ensure controls are adequate.Identifies and analyzes factors which may affect risk mitigation within the market and compliance with applicable regulatory requirementsMonitors to ensures Branch adherence to internal/external Compliance regulations and requirementsProvides input into the planning and implementation of operational programs.Executes work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service.Sources new sales & service professional candidates in collaboration with the Regional Director, TrustSupports the Trainee mentorship and supervises performance during and subsequent to their training period.Leads/participates in the design, implementation and management of core business/group processes.Identifies business needs, designs/develops tools and training programs; may include delivery of training to audiences.Performs various operational activities to meet business objectives, client needs, and maintain overall service levels.Provides administrative/operational support including financial and transactional processing and reporting, account processing and documentation, compliance processing, and other related activities; ensures proper documentation and administration of decisions.Meets high quality service standards to maximize relationship retention and growth.Identifies and escalates all irregularities and discrepancies to management and compliance as per guidelines.Follows through on risk and compliance processes and policies to ensure we safeguard our customers’ assets, maintain their privacy, act in their best interests, and ensure an effectively run function.Protects the Bank's assets and complies with all regulatory, legal and ethical requirements.Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.25% travel required across the GTA marketQualifications:Typically between 5 - 7 years of estate and trust administration experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Sales and service experience preferred.In-depth operational experience.Supervisory/leadership experience an assetIn-depth experience with estate and trust products and related technologies.Deep estate and trust knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.Collaboration & team skills - In-depth.Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth.Influence skills - In-depth.Data driven decision making - In-depth.Salary:$70,000.00 - $150,000.00Pay Type: SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
