The Role

In this dual role, you are the final line of defense for quality control and the driving force behind our service pacing. As an Expeditor (Expo) , you will organize tickets and ensure plates are built perfectly. As a Food Runner , you will deliver these culinary masterpieces to our guests with elegance and detail. This role is fast-paced, highly critical, and the perfect steppingstone for someone looking to master fine-dining operations.

What You'll Do

• Final Quality Check: Inspect every dish before it leaves the kitchen window to ensure it meets our strict presentation standards, exact steak temperatures, and specific guest modifications.
• Coordinate & Pace: Communicate clearly between the Executive Chef, line cooks, and service staff to ensure tables receive all their dishes at the exact same time.
• Polished Table Delivery: Deliver hot plates to tables gracefully, articulately announcing the dish and the steak temperature to the guests (e.g., "Our 14-ounce bone-in ribeye, prepared medium-rare").
• Garnish & Detail: Fully stock the expo line with required garnishes, clean plates, underliners, and condiments.
• Support the Floor: Assist servers by clearing empty plates (bussing) and communicating immediate guest needs back to the kitchen.

What We're Looking For

• Laser Focus: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to read, prioritize, and track multiple kitchen tickets at once.
• Articulate Communicator: A strong, clear voice to direct the kitchen line, balanced with a polite, sophisticated demeanor when speaking to guests.
• Menu Knowledge: A willingness to deeply memorize our menu, ingredients, major allergens, and steak cuts.
• Physical Speed & Stamina: Ability to carry heavy trays of food safely through a crowded dining room and remain on your feet for an entire shift.
• Availability: Flexibility to work nights, busy weekends, and holidays.
