Multi-Sensor Tracking Engineer
Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL)
Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a Multi-Sensor Tracking Engineer to develop advanced tracking and sensor fusion solutions for critical national security and space missions. You will design, implement, and evaluate algorithms that combine data from radar, EO/IR, and other sensors to detect, track, and characterize complex targets in contested environments. Working in a collaborative, mission-driven R&D team, you’ll build models and simulations, analyze real and simulated data, and transition prototypes into operational concepts. APL offers strong support for research, publication, advanced degrees, and professional growth, all in a culture that values curiosity, inclusion, and ethical impact.
