Job Responsibilities

  • Craft Custom Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design individualized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional goals
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-informed practices to bolster patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and day-to-day activities
  • Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nurses to deliver thorough, patient-centered care
  • Guide Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers therapy techniques to facilitate continued improvement at home
  • Document and Monitor Progress: Keep track of clinical outcomes and modify treatments as necessary to ensure patients meet their objectives

Education

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
  • Ongoing education or additional certifications encouraged and fully supported

Certifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory

Qualifications
