Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department - Nights Job Description: - Take charge of providing exceptional care to Emergency Room patients. - Utilize the Nursing Process in alignment with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. - Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment. - Exhibit strong leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care. - Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training. - Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff. - Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care. - Work NIGHTS, 7 PM - 7:30 AM (3x12s) - must be flexible to float as needed. - Experience in a Trauma Level III Certified environment is a plus. - Engage in Stroke and STEMI Receiving protocols. - Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS. - Hold a valid Arizona Nursing License. - Experience with Cerner EMR is highly preferred. - Dress code: black scrubs. Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department. - Charge Nurse experience preferred (additional compensation available). - Must be ready to start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance.
