Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Now Hiring

Are you a master of the dock? We are urgently hiring shipping and receiving clerks who can handle the physical and administrative demands of both inbound and outbound material flow. Secure immediate contract income and consistent pay by accepting short-term mandates where your skills directly control warehouse efficiency and throughput.

Your responsibilities:

- Material handling: assist with the physical loading, unloading, sorting, and movement of freight on the docks, utilizing pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Receiving: inspect inbound freight for damage, verify counts against the packing slip, and direct materials to the correct quality or putaway area.
- Shipping: manage the final staging and loading of outbound trailers, ensuring all freight matches the final manifest and is securely stowed for transit.
- Inventory staging: ensure that all received goods are moved out of the dock area quickly, and all finished goods are staged correctly for carrier pickup.
- Safety: enforce and follow all dock safety procedures, coordinating safely with equipment operators and truck drivers in high-traffic zones.

dress code:
Shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. Shorts are okay (Mid thigh length and longer) - No profane or suggestive texts and images. Hair must be tied back and around the neck area. Safety shoes will be required. Also required will be ear plugs and safety glasses which will both be provided for by the client.
