Staff Accountant

Role Description Pinnacle Tax Group is looking to add an experienced Staff Accountant with the drive to continually develop and improve, a commitment to helping others and a focus on providing excellent client services. This professional will be responsible for a variety of tasks for our clients, including monthly and quarterly bookkeeping, individual and business tax preparation, and possibly some payroll, so a self-motivated, customer-oriented, team player is essential. Responsibilities Monthly and quarterly bookkeeping for businesses Preparing sales tax for businesses Preparing individual and business tax returns for clients Performing special bookkeeping or tax projects as issues arise Communicating with clients and other business professionals, as needed Participating in community events to network with potential clients and promote the firm Qualifications Proven work experience as an accountant Ability to work independently under limited supervision Excellent analytical and communication skills with superior attention to detail Integrity with an ability to handle confidential information with discretion Demonstrated professionalism, flexibility, and accuracy in all aspects of work High school degree or equivalent Ability to pass a background check At least one year of accounting experience Easily able to commute to and work in our office in Minot, ND Available to work at least 40 hours per week Experience with QuickBooks and some payroll is preferred Hourly rate of $23 - $27 per hour *Starting hourly rate will depend upon experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Pinnacle Tax Group
