CNC Operator
Bulmann Dock & Lift is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Boyne City, Michigan. This position involves operating CNC equipment to produce quality components used in our dock and lift systems. CNC programming experience is not required, but candidates should have experience operating CNC machinery and making necessary adjustments. Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC machinery according to production requirements.
- Load materials, install tooling, and adjust machine settings as needed.
- Monitor machine operations and make offset adjustments to maintain accuracy.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow established safety procedures and quality standards.
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery preferred.
- Manufacturing experience, particularly with aluminum fabrication, is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience making CNC offset adjustments.
- Familiarity with measuring tools and quality inspection procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic CNC programming knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
