About this job… Hutton Hotel Nashville is seeking an enthusiastic and service-driven Barista to join our Food & Beverage team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee beverages, limited cocktails and café offerings while delivering a welcoming and memorable experience for hotel guests and visitors. The ideal candidate must be passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a guest-focused environment and take pride in providing excellent service. Key Responsibilities... Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, teas, and light café offerings for all F&B outlets according to established standards. Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests and customers. Maintain knowledge of coffee beverages, brewing methods, house-made syrups, ingredients and menu offerings. Ensure cleanliness and organization of café workstations and equipment. Prepare and restock and organize ingredients, supplies, and café items as needed. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards. Work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage team to support daily operations and guest satisfaction. Qualifications: Previous experience as a Barista required. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and strong team orientation. Ability to plan and execute daily prep list while balancing guest-facing service. Food Handler/Serv Safe certification and TABC license required (or ability to obtain). Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to lift and move items up to 30 pounds. Frequent reaching, bending, and movement during service.
