About the Initiative

Project Atlas is a strategic business initiative focused on creating a stronger data foundation across a large energy generation environment. The initiative is intended to improve how asset, operational, and financial data is captured, reviewed, reported, and used across field, operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams.

This role will support the documentation, synthesis, playbook, change, and reporting components of the Atlas data collection effort. The focus is on helping convert stakeholder input, pilot-site feedback, available materials, working-session notes, adoption risks, issue themes, reporting inputs, data dependencies, and process handoffs into clear, usable deliverables that support pilot readiness and future rollout planning.

The Playbook, Change & Reporting Analyst will help maintain feedback logs, issue logs, RAID inputs, action items, reporting inputs, interview notes, decision logs, dependency trackers, and deliverable content. This role will support the Data Collection Adoption Playbook, materials review summary, stakeholder interview summary, issue handling and reporting approach, milestone packages, and Phase 2 support model recommendation.

This is a deliverable-based consulting engagement, so the role requires comfort working against defined scope, assumptions, milestone expectations, client feedback cycles, and documented dependencies. This role is not responsible for building production dashboards, data pipelines, system integrations, technical reporting automation, or data governance.

Responsibilities

• Support stakeholder/SME interview documentation and consolidation of interview themes.
• Maintain feedback logs, issue logs, action items, RAID inputs, reporting inputs, decision logs, and dependency trackers for the team.
• Support review of available materials and documentation of gaps, observations, recommended updates, and open questions.
• Support backend investigation and synthesis of available information, including Conduit guidance, work-order examples, adoption metrics, reporting examples, process information, working-session notes, and stakeholder inputs.
• Support development of the Available Materials Review Summary, Stakeholder / SME Interview Summary, Issue Handling and Reporting Approach, Reporting and Feedback Tracking Approach, and other milestone deliverables as assigned.
• Support preparation, organization, and quality review of milestone deliverable packages, including consolidation of inputs, themes, open items, risks, and recommendations.
• Support consolidation of themes, risks, questions, dependencies, open items, and recommendations for weekly reporting and milestone packages.
• Help define practical reporting and feedback tracking approaches for pilot observations, user issues, support needs, adoption risks, and leadership visibility.
• Support definition of adoption KPIs, reporting inputs, dashboard needs, source-data dependencies, process handoffs, and friction logs.
• Map available process information from work-order assignment through photo capture, review, rework, approval, closure, and downstream asset/template usage.
• Help clarify what can be reported using existing data versus what would require future reporting, dashboard, data, or system changes.
• Support the Data Collection Adoption Playbook by organizing field feedback, stakeholder input, known friction points, support paths, and reinforcement considerations.
• Support Phase 2 planning through synthesis of pilot-site feedback, working-session inputs, open dependencies, support considerations, and recommended reporting needs.
• Prepare leadership-ready summaries that identify trends, issue themes, adoption risks, open decisions, and recommended follow-up.
• Prepare clear, organized, and executive-ready documentation in client-approved formats where applicable.

Required Skills

• 5-8+ years overall experience, with 3+ years in business analysis, process analysis, KPI reporting, adoption reporting, operational reporting, PMO analysis, or similar role supporting technology or operational transformation initiatives.
• Strong documentation, synthesis, note-taking, and written communication skills.
• Experience maintaining RAID logs, issue logs, action item trackers, decision logs, dependency trackers, feedback logs, friction logs, or similar project controls.
• Ability to organize stakeholder input, meeting notes, field feedback, and available source materials into concise themes and recommendations.
• Ability to define adoption KPIs, reporting requirements, dashboard needs, data dependencies, process handoffs, friction logs, decision logs, and leadership-ready summaries.
• Ability to distinguish what can be measured today from what requires new data, reporting, dashboards, or system changes.
• Ability to map operational processes from work-order assignment through photo submission, review, approval, closure, and downstream asset/template usage.
• Experience supporting reporting inputs, metrics tracking, dashboard requirements, adoption/readiness reporting, or leadership reporting without necessarily building production dashboards.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint or similar collaboration/documentation tools.
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments where documentation may be incomplete and inputs are refined during the engagement.

Optional / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in energy, utilities, power generation, renewables, industrial operations, telecom, or regulated environments.
• Exposure to CMMS/EAM platforms, Maximo, Conduit, work-order processes, asset management, or data collection/reporting programs.
• Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar tool experience.
• Experience supporting OCM, training, readiness, adoption reporting, or pilot rollout documentation.
• CBAP, CCBA, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Power BI certification, Microsoft PL-300, ITIL Foundation, Agile/Scrum, SAFe, Prosci, or reporting/data analysis certification.
• Maximo, CMMS, or EAM experience/certification.
