Job Overview AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a School Services Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Fryeburg, Maine. Start Date: 08/24/2026. Duration: 42 weeks. Hours: 40 per week (7‑hour shifts). Employment Type: Travel. Responsibilities Conduct speech and language screenings and comprehensive evaluations for K‑12 students. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEPs. Provide direct therapy services, both pull‑out and in‑classroom, depending on student needs. Collect data and maintain accurate, timely documentation in the school’s designated systems. Consult with teachers, special education team members, and parents on classroom strategies and student progress. Participate in IEP meetings and support RTI or similar frameworks. Required Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field. State SLP license in the state of residence (SLP‑ME). Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a school setting, early childhood, or pediatrics. Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of educators, parents, and community members.
