SeamstressSeamstresses are responsible for sewing banners and table covers with materials such as banner vinyl, mesh banner and various textiles according to the clients' specifications.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain industrial sewing machinesSet correct tension and choosing proper thread weight/material for product being sewnEnsure proper equipment startup & operationCompare physical characteristics of materials to specificationsInspect work for defects or damageMaintain a safe and clean work environmentPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
