RN - MS Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years with travel experience required License: Active state or compact license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Minimum of 2 years of experience Travel experience Previous charge experience preferred Description:The position requires a registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience.Travel nursing experience is mandatory.Candidates must have previous charge experience, which is preferred but not required.The schedule will be determined by management.All requests for time off must be submitted with the application.The nurse will primarily care for post-surgical patients.Common procedures include bariatric surgeries, colon resections, thyroidectomies, hernia repairs, appendectomies, gallbladder surgeries, and biliary issues.The patient ratio is typically six patients per nurse.The role also involves managing various medical and surgical needs.Candidates must be willing to float within the facility as needed.This position requires an understanding of various patient diagnoses and treatments.Nurses will work in a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support.Knowledge and skills in surgical care and specialty procedures are essential. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet Health
