Volt is immediately hiring for Pharmacy Technician II in Torrance , CA


As a Pharmacy Technician II you will:

• This position requires a California-licensed Pharmacy Technician working under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• The technician will be responsible for the packaging, preparation, and sterile compounding of intravenous medications as well as injectable medications, including chemotherapy and other biohazardous drugs.
• All duties must be performed in accordance with USP <797> and <800> standards, institutional protocols, and safety guidelines.

This is a full-time contract opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day.


Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• At least 6 months of performing related duties as a pharmacy technician
• Licensed pharmacy technician license in good standing with California Board of Pharmacy
• High School or equivalent or Post High School vocational/specialized training or Graduation from a foreign school of Pharmacy

Required Skills & Qualifications

• We are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of solid experience with sterile compounding (797) and hazardous compounding (800) experience.
• This candidate would have likely worked at an Inpatient setting (Hospital) or an ambulatory setting (infusion clinic).

Schedule: 1st shift - 8am -4:30pm


Days: Monday through Friday


Pay Rate Range: $25 to $28 and hour
