About the Role:
Quality Inn & Suites is looking for friendly and motivated Hotel Front Desk Clerks to join our team in Plattsburgh, NY! This is a fantastic opportunity to be the face of our hotel, creating memorable first impressions and delivering outstanding guest experiences every day.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and friendly check-in and check-out process
Manage reservations, cancellations, and room assignments using hotel management software
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
Process payments, issue room keys, and maintain accurate billing records
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
Provide local area information, recommendations, and concierge-style assistance to guests
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in hotel front desk, hospitality, or customer service preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer proficiency; experience with hotel management systems is a plus
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Professional appearance and a positive, guest-first attitude
