Central Sterile Tech
This position requires a sterile processing technician to perform essential duties related to the processing of surgical instruments. The technician must be aware of the potential for emergency assignments and be willing to support the team during such events. Candidates must possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sterile processing and hold relevant certifications. Experience with specific special equipment is necessary, including sterilizers and ultrasonic machines. Interviews will cover topics such as instrument tracking systems and teamwork principles. Candidates must have a solid understanding of decontamination processes and instrument functionality checks. A flexible attitude toward the work environment and a commitment to team collaboration are essential for success in this role. All requirements must be fulfilled, and references may be needed to confirm qualifications prior to starting. The role does not accept candidates who have been permanent staff or contractors within the past year.
