Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding onsite contract opportunity supporting students through speech and language services, beginning August 11, 2026, and continuing through June 6, 2027. Embrace full-time hours (37.5 per week) providing specialized support to diverse caseloads in a vibrant school community. You’ll play a key role by fostering communication growth, collaborating with educators and families, and empowering students across a range of intensive and mild/moderate needs.

Available caseloads offer the chance to focus your expertise:

• One site: Serve two Special Day Classes (High and Post-Secondary) with both intensive and mild/moderate needs.
• Two sites: Split your time between a middle school Special Day Class (intensive/mild/mod) and an elementary Special Day Class.
• One site: Support a mild/moderate TK-5 program.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy tailored to student IEP goals.
• Conduct assessments, write reports, and help shape meaningful educational plans.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and multidisciplinary staff for integrated support.
• Engage families and caregivers in the therapy process for holistic growth.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
• Stay current with best practices, contributing to a dynamic learning environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid and active California SLP license and/or CCC.
• Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is highly valued.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Adaptable, proactive, and eager to support students at different grade levels and need areas.
• Willingness and ability to provide all services onsite.
