Cardiothoracic RN - CVOR - Day Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

This position requires working three 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Job Description

The Cardiothoracic RN will be responsible for circulating complex cardiac cases, general OR cases, and vascular surgeries. Cases include CABG, TAVR, LVAD, Impella, valve replacements, and heart and lung transplants. The position requires being on call for 5-8 calls per month, which may include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in the Cardiovascular Operating Room for complex procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital protocols.
• Coordinate with the surgical team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiothoracic surgery.
• Active SC or multi-state RN license required at the start of the contract.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be AHA certified).
• Experience with radiation badge as required.
