Child & Adolescent Clinician (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC)

Overview Family Services, Inc. is seeking a Child & Adolescent Clinician to provide child and adolescent mental health therapy for ages 3 to 17 years at our Behavioral Health Centers in Dutchess and Ulster Counties. The role is full-time (40 hours per week), with a Monday–Friday schedule. Locations include Kingston, Kingston & Ellenville (time between two centers), and Poughkeepsie. Salary range is $60,000.00–$75,000.00 per year, with salaries based on experience, education, and licensure length. We support professional growth and development. Full-time Clinicians receive 12 hours of paid professional development time annually to attend training or conferences that meet their individual learning needs and interests. Job Responsibilities Provide diagnostic evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans for children, adolescents, and their families, focusing on both individual and family therapy as needed Engage with external stakeholders such as school staff, medical professionals, and case managers to coordinate holistic care for clients Assist with pre-intake, intake, and screening of new clients and provide information on psycho-social history Create youth-centered treatment plans, modify them based on progress, and prepare clients for completion of treatment Complete administrative tasks including maintaining case records, documenting client contacts, meeting deadlines, and responding to outside agency queries Develop and implement follow-up studies to determine program effectiveness Coordinate with schools, Social Services, case managers, and probation departments regarding client treatment Provide clients with information and educational community activities to mitigate substance use and mental health issues Act as a client advocate and liaison with community resources Provide training to colleagues on issues related to mental health treatment Qualifications Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Clinical Social Worker R - Psychotherapy Privilege (LCSW-R) Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Must possess NYS license Other Requirements The Clinician serves youth ages 3–17 years in individual and family therapy and collaborates with families to support growth and development Experience in individual and family therapy for children and adolescents using evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, Play Therapy, Art Therapy) Strong administrative, time management, and organizational skills Adept communicator with strong relationship-building skills English & Spanish language skills are a plus Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage 403(b) retirement plan with employer match up to 5% Paid vacation, holidays, sick time, and personal time (2 weeks vacation to start, 13 paid holidays per year, 12 sick days, 4 personal days) Employee assistance program (EAP) Compassionate Leave Program for donating/receiving unused time off Group term life and long-term disability insurance Supplemental life insurance & AD&D, and Aflac supplemental coverage Pet insurance STAR LRP assistance eligibility for certain centers through HRSA Our Mission & Values Family Services brings people together to find the support they need, improving lives and communities, and building a stronger safer Hudson Valley.
