Key Responsibilities for the Payroll Accountant Role:
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time, including union payroll requirements.
- Manage multi-state payroll, tax withholdings, garnishments, and compliance reporting.
- Administer payroll-related benefits and 401(k) deductions and reconciliations.
- Process Accounts Payable invoices and maintain vendor payment records.
- Utilize Acumatica to support payroll, AP processing, reporting, and record management.
- Experience processing union and multi-state payroll in a high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage laws, and 401(k) administration.
- Experience with Accounts Payable and invoice processing; Acumatica experience is highly desirable.
