RN - Outpatient

Role Overview: Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care in an ambulatory setting, serving diverse age groups. Offer clinical leadership and mentorship to staff, acting as a role model. Assist physicians with tests, procedures, and treatments, ensuring adherence to policies. Document medical histories, lab results, and patient interactions accurately. Administer medications and routine treatments, and respond to emergencies. Participate in staff orientation and coordinate patient care with other departments. Maintain equipment and supplies, and promote patient safety by following protocols and encouraging patient involvement. Provide comprehensive patient education on medical issues and preventive care. Qualifications & Skills Graduated from an accredited nursing program; RN licensure in NM or reciprocal agreement CPR/BLS certification within 30 days Strong clinical skills, ability to perform complex treatments, and assess patient needs Excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities (preferred) Physical ability to perform heavy work, lifting up to 100 pounds when necessary Knowledge of patient safety protocols and emergency response procedures Key Duties Provide comprehensive nursing care, including assessments, treatments, and patient education Assist physicians with procedures and manage patient documentation Support patient safety initiatives and emergency measures Mentor staff and contribute to a collaborative care environment Ensure proper equipment maintenance and supply management #J-18808-Ljbffr
