CMMS Planning & Reliability Coordinator

Ready to turn chaos into a clean, 100% utilized maintenance schedule?Do you instinctively break down a job into labor, parts, tools, and timing? Can you keep a Ready Backlog at or above 80% while partnering with Production to hit the week’s priorities? As our CMMS Planning & Reliability Coordinator, you’ll convert requests into executable work—safely, efficiently, and predictably.Your missionEvaluate non-emergency work orders, define scope, and confirm site conditions before planning.Estimate labor hours, trade skills, parts, materials, equipment, and special tools for proactive maintenance.Compile technical references—drawings, schematics, specifications, and spare parts lists—from equipment histories, OEM manuals, and the Knowledgebase; confirm parts availability ahead of schedule.Arrange special tools and auxiliary equipment when required.Curate and prioritize the backlog; always plan the next-highest-priority jobs and keep the Ready Backlog at or above 80%.Apply continuous improvement to keep Job Plans accurate and effective.Run weekly planning and scheduling meetings with Production to align priorities, report status, and adjust plans as needed.Publish a Weekly Technician Schedule that blends priority planned work with preventative maintenance and uses 100% of available technician labor hours.Leverage maintenance metrics to improve planning and scheduling effectiveness.Maintain documentation and files for meaningful analysis and reporting.Train site personnel on the CMMS, ensuring integrity and proper utilization.Must-havesAssociate Degree in a technical field (required) with 1–3 years of maintenance scheduling/planning experience and/or 5–10 years as a machine repair technician, or an equivalent combination.Comfort in an industrial manufacturing environment; strong electrical/mechanical aptitude.Proficiency with computers, maintenance systems, and Microsoft Office.Clear, confident communication and presentation skills.Ability to create and maintain professional relationships across teams.Nice-to-havesLeadership growth mindset.Experience in job plan development, job scheduling, and work execution.Project management and capital project experience.CMRP, Green Belt, or STS credential.Competencies that set you up for successDrive & MotivationInterpersonal SkillsTask ManagementStrategic SkillsCustomer FocusThe physical reality of the jobRegular activities: standing, walking, using hands/fingers, reaching with hands/arms, climbing/ascending/descending or balancing (may require a ladder or lift), stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling in confined spaces, and talking/hearing.Occasional activities: sitting; lifting and/or moving more than 50 pounds; being outdoors; exposure to risk of electrical shock.Vision needs: close vision and color vision used regularly.Environment: typically performed in a factory that is usually very loud, with potential exposure to hazardous materials and/or greasy or slippery floors.Pay and perksPay Range$93,475.37 - $119,546.72ATS believes in fair and equitable pay.
