The nurse will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:5. The role requires expertise in telemetry and cardiac monitoring. Post-cardiac procedures require specific knowledge in care management. Patients may include those recovering from surgeries, cardiac incidents, and other medical conditions. The nurse will work with a multidisciplinary team to support patient needs. There will be a requirement for weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule. Floating may be required to meet the facility's needs. Wound care, isolation precautions, and infection control will be integral to the role. This position supports patients of varying age groups, including adults and geriatrics. The ideal candidate should have strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
