Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent CVICU experience (first-time travelers welcome with this background)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications; CCRN preferred
• Experience with post-op cardiac care, circulatory support devices (IABP, IMPELLA, LVAD, ECMO)
• Proficiency in titration of vasoactive/antiarrhythmic medications, interpreting cardiac waveforms, and hemodynamic monitoring
• EPIC charting experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent care to post-cardiac and critically ill patients in a 22-bed CVICU with a 1:2 RN-to-patient ratio
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team-including intensivists and respiratory therapists-24/7
• Float as needed to other critical care areas
• Utilize latest technology (Alaris, Omnicell, Phillips Monitors, CRRT) for comprehensive patient management
