Company Cox Automotive - USA Job Family Group Vehicle Operations Job Profile Auto Maintenance Technician II Management Level Individual Contributor Flexible Work Option No remote option; must work at a specified Cox location Travel % No Work Shift Day Compensation Hourly base pay rate is $24.23 - $36.35/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program. What You’ll Do Perform highly skilled maintenance and repairs across a wide range of vehicle systems. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and drivability issues, including brakes, tires, suspension and related components. Conduct advanced diagnostics and repairs across key systems, including starting and charging AC, OBDII and electrical systems. Complete detailed mechanical inspections, including required measurements, and document any deficiencies across interior, exterior, engine and driveline components. Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards, including proper handling of recyclables, fluids, tires and waste. Assist with upfitting new vehicles with required equipment. Source and manage parts through approved vendors. Support additional service needs, including OEM recall work as required. You also have the following: Minimum Requirements A high school diploma or GED with 3 years of related work experience; or any degree or certification above a high school diploma/GED with one year of related work experience; or 5 years of related work experience without a degree. A valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles. Preferred Qualifications Current ASE Certification: G1, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8 EV experience preferred.
