Cath Lab / PTCA Recovery - Registered Nurse (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) with alternating weekday off | 36 guaranteed hours per week | 13-week assignment | On-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab and PTCA Recovery setting
• Fulfill call requirements of approximately 14–16 days per 6-week period, including 2 weekends
• Float within the Cath Lab and to the pre/post cath area as needed
• Float to the Post-Surgical Recovery (PSR) area when required
• Monitor and assess patients pre- and post-cardiac procedures, responding promptly to changes in condition

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Florida or through Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Experience in Cardiac Catheterization Lab and/or PTCA Recovery nursing
• Ability to meet call requirements including weekday and weekend on-call shifts
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Cath Lab or cardiac specialty setting
• Familiarity with pre/post cath care and post-surgical recovery environments
• Experience with EP (Electrophysiology) procedures
