Job Description Registered Veterinary Technician – Full Time We’re a thriving 8‑doctor, AAHA‑accredited practice with an average caseload of 19‑22 patients per day. The role involves general practice and urgent care, with opportunities to work in soft tissue and laser surgery, therapeutic laser treatments, ultrasound (FAST scans), and urgent care examinations. The position is full‑time, weekdays with rotating Saturdays. Responsibilities Utilize your full skill set to provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing laboratory work Act as a leader and mentor, guiding and supporting the medical team and helping others grow their skills and careers Partner with clients, serving as a key point of contact for pet owners, educating them on treatments, reviewing medical records, and answering questions Contribute to a positive culture through active participation in training, providing feedback, and maintaining high standards of hospital environment Qualifications Graduate of an AVMA‑accredited Veterinary Technician program Current state veterinary technician license (RVT) in good standing Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures Calm and efficient approach in fast‑paced or stressful situations Strong communication skills and passion for collaborative work Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital; one year preferred Experience with Cornerstone software and Scribenote AI charting tools (a plus) Confidence and proficiency in venipuncture and subcutaneous injections, triage and history taking, sample collection, invoicing, and charging Benefits Competitive hourly rate of $24 – $27 based on experience Comprehensive health, dental, vision coverage and 401(k) with company match Maternity leave, short‑term and long‑term disability insurance Peace of mind with company‑paid professional liability coverage Unlimited vacation with paid holidays and dedicated paid days off Year‑long continuing education allowance and tuition reimbursement opportunities Access to a nationwide veterinary community and internal specialty consultations Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
