Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in stepdown and cardiac stepdown units
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and vital statistics
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Respond to changes in patients’ status with rapid and appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on care protocols and discharge instructions

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• Minimum one year of recent experience in stepdown and/or cardiac stepdown settings
• Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) certification
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Adaptability to new environments and dedication to high-quality patient care
