As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play an essential role in helping our residents regain independence, improve communication, and safely enjoy everyday activities.
Responsibilities include:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans that maximize resident outcomes.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, dietary services, and families.
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings.
Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations.
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current California SLP License (or eligibility)
Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are strongly encouraged to apply
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required
Passion for working with older adults in a skilled nursing setting
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care
