ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West Caregiver Opportunity

ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Orinda, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of seniors and individuals who need support to live safely and comfortably at home. Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying living spaces
• Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being
• Provide safe transportation and accompaniment to appointments or errands
• Document and communicate changes in client condition to supervisors promptly

Requirements:

• Previous caregiving, home care, or personal care aide experience preferred
• Genuine compassion, patience, and reliability when working with elderly or disabled clients
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and reference verification
• Strong communication skills and a professional, trustworthy demeanor
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
