Purchasing Agent Position

Currently seeking qualified candidates for a Purchasing Agent Position on 1st shift in the Florence, KY area. Compensation and benefits for the Purchasing Agent include an unlimited $150 referral bonus for any new applicants you refer, vacation pay, and temp to hire opportunities. Responsibilities of the Purchasing Agent

• Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Adhere to purchasing budgets for each supplier while maintaining proper inventory levels with an often-changing production schedule.
• Issue and manage purchase orders to various suppliers for production and expense related items.
• Ensure product availability to properly support production while managing inventory level.
• Coordinate efforts of suppliers with engineering to ensure effective communication.
• Manage supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, pricing, and product offering.
• Ensure completion of purchasing effort through all steps including receipt and invoice payment.
• Provide accurate and timely delivery information for all items or services purchased.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports as required.
• Pay close attention to detail to pull parts for customer orders.
• Proactively attain a safe and healthy environment for all employees.
• Follow all company instructions, safety policies, and rules.
• Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Requirements of the Purchasing Agent

1st shift 9 am- 7:30pm M-F. Must pass a 10 panel drug test. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Must have reliable transportation.
