Hotel Luxury Bell Attendant - Hilton Anatole

$10 per hour

Job Details Business Casual Attire Recommended for Interview Compensation : The hourly base pay range is $10 per hour plus $14–$16 per hour in tips. Compensation is based on candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. Work Schedule : Dependent on hotel business volumes; discussed during the interview. Benefits : Employees are eligible to enroll in accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits and a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Eligibility depends on job classification, length of employment and hours worked. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible. Responsibilities Provide exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. Assist hotel guests with luggage, including delivery and pick up during arrival and departure. Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients. Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor; use guest last names and the day’s salutation when welcoming guests to the location. Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette. Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks. Conduct thorough room presentations for guests. Assist guests with room changes when needed. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the rooms, meeting facilities and public areas of the hotel. Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests. Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and all other inquiries. Provide information to guests about the hotel, meeting rooms, amenities and main attractions in the area. Assist guests with transportation to off-site locations using only approved taxi cab or transport services. Correctly tag individual bags for storage in the bell storage area. Ensure all guests and luggage are safely transported to and from assigned destinations. Continuously monitor and maintain cleanliness and order of the guest services area. Deliver messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested. Complete all tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the Account Manager. Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Licensure & Certifications Must complete the Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park. Work Experience One to three months related experience and/or training. Knowledge Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Skills Read and write standard English language. Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees. Add and subtract three-digit numbers and perform multiplication and division with tens and hundreds using units of American money. Understand 24-hour and military time systems. Understand rates applicable to time passed.
