Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Step-Down Unit – Georgia

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Medical Step-Down Unit, 6-20 bed unit with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Float rotation to other Intermediate Care Units as needed. Mandatory holiday coverage required (either Thanksgiving Day or the day after, plus either Christmas Eve/Christmas Day or New Year's Eve/New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• Medical Step-Down/Intermediate Care setting with diverse patient population
• Clinical focus includes Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, and Encephalopathy
• Manageable 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 6-20 bed unit
• Opportunity to float to additional IMCU units for varied clinical experience
• Contract assignment in a major metropolitan area with excellent amenities

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Step-Down or Intermediate Care experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Ability to work mandatory holiday coverage as specified
