Pharmaceutical Sales Associate - San Francisco, CA

Pharmaceutical Sales Associate (Entry‑Level) We are hiring a Pharmaceutical Sales Associate to maintain relationships within healthcare offices, supply patient materials, vouchers, and samples, and provide in‑office education as required. The associate will conduct live customer calls in primary care offices within an assigned geography and will achieve established service and sales objectives while representing IQVIA professionally. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Achieve service and sales goals by implementing marketing strategies in the assigned region. Analyze performance and adjust business plans and approaches accordingly. Execute the plan and achieve metric objectives. Maintain and update current and prospective target profiles and call records in CRM. Stay current with market knowledge and competitive products. Complete all required training and team meetings. Plan, organize, and prioritize activities to meet service/sales goals for assigned targets. Demonstrate mastery of customer engagement skills, including questioning and probing to understand customer needs. Submit complete, accurate, and timely timekeeping, details, call activity, expense reports, and sample activity. Comply with governing corporate policies and SOPs, including sample management, promotional program compliance, and appropriate use of materials and expense budgets. Education, Experience & Other Requirements Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year accredited college or university required. 1 year of customer service experience preferred. Additional experience that is a plus: military service; college worked‑study experience; participation in competitive sports; extracurricular leadership roles. Excellent live, virtual, and written communication skills to engage customers. Proven active listening skills. Strong rapport‑building skills. Benefits & Compensation The potential base pay range for this role is $55,000–$63,000 annually. Incentive plans, bonuses, and other compensation may also be offered, along with a range of health, welfare, and other benefits.
