City/StateVirginia Beach, VAWork ShiftFirst (Days)Overview:Overview :The Epic Population Health IT Associate Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day support, optimization, testing, and maintenance of Epic Population Health applications, including Inpatient Case Management, Healthy Planet and EpicCare Link in support of organizational Population Health strategy . This entry-level role partners with clinical, operational, and technical teams to analyze workflows, support system enhancements, evaluate software releases, and resolve application-related issues. The ideal candidate brings a strong clinical experience with case management, inpatient nursing, and population health (OR), OR a baseline Epic Inpatient ClinDoc, Inpatient or Healthy Planet exposure and desire to deepen knowledge within the application or learn additional applications in support of improving patient outcomes, quality of care and clinician efficiencyThis is a remote position that works closely with cross-functional teams to support application integration, system upgrades, testing, and ongoing operational support for Sentara's Population Health growth and strategy..EducationBachelor's Degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Required (Preferred)or5 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degreeCertification/LicensureEpic HP (Healthy Planet) OR IP Clin Doc (Inpatient clinical Documentation )OR Epic Case Management Certification (Preferred)Experience3 years of relevant healthcare, clinical informatics, application support, or IT analyst experience with a degree5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degreeExperience in clinical case management, care coordination, or population health programs requiredKnowledge of inpatient nursing workflows and healthcare operationsFamiliarity with Epic Healthy Planet, population health management tools, or healthcare technology applications preferredExperience supporting software testing, workflow analysis, system upgrades, or application optimization activities preferred •Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skillsAbility to work effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $89,294.40 - $131,851.20 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
