Mason

We are hiring a skilled Mason to join our team in the construction industry. As a Mason you will be responsible for building and repairing structures using various types of materials such as concrete, brick and stone. Your expertise in masonry techniques and tools will be crucial in ensuring that our projects are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine the layout and materials needed for each project Measure and cut materials to specific sizes using hand or power tools Mix mortar or other adhesives according to specifications Lay bricks, concrete blocks or other materials to construct walls, arches, fireplaces, chimneys or other structures Smooth and polish surfaces using hand or power tools Repair or replace damaged bricks or other materials Follow safety procedures at all times while working on-site Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Requirements High school diploma or equivalent qualification Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry Knowledge of masonry techniques, tools and equipment Ability to read blueprints and construction plans Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination Attention to detail and precision in work Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Willingness to work overtime when necessary Salary We offer a competitive salary of $900 per week for full-time employment. Location This position is based in the US. Experience Experience in masonry is required for this position.
