Dishwasher / Steward

Join the Food & Beverage team at Angler's Hotel – Miami Beach ! We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher / Steward to help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment. This role is essential to keeping our culinary operations running smoothly by supporting the kitchen team and ensuring all equipment and work areas meet the highest cleanliness standards.

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dishwashing area throughout your shift.
• Clean kitchen workstations, floors, storage areas, and service areas.
• Remove trash, recyclables, and food waste from back-of-house areas.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food, beverage, and supply deliveries.
• Restock kitchen supplies, cleaning products, and service items as needed.
• Support the culinary team with cleaning and operational tasks during service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management.
• Assist with opening, closing, and deep-cleaning duties.

• Previous dishwasher, steward, kitchen utility, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation practices is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently bend, lift, reach, push, and pull.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working around hot water, cleaning chemicals, kitchen equipment, steam, and noise.
