ICU Registered Nurse (RN)This position is located in Idaho Falls, ID. It is for an Intensive Care Unit with the following specifics:Number of Beds: 29Contract Length: 13 weeksShift: NightsPatient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2 (occasionally 1:3 with patients ready to leave ICU)Staffing Description: No CNAs, one telemetry technicianEquipment: Aleris pumps, GE monitors, Edwards EV 1000 and CCO, Primaflex CRRT, Cardiohelp ECMODocumentation System: MeditechScheduling Requirements: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, every other weekendFloating Policy: Travelers float first – to ED or step down unitWeekend Requirement: Every other weekendWe are committed to offering the highest quality of patient care during every shift. Candidates should be able to enhance patient experiences and maintain a compassionate environment.Must have:Advanced Skills: Vent management, ABG interpretation, vasoactive drip titration, hemodynamic monitoringProcedures Performed: Intubations, central line placement, bronchoscopies, bedside tracheostomy and PEG tube placementCertifications Required: RN license, ACLS, BLSRequired uniform: Navy blue scrubsThis ICU unit is a general unit located in a level 2 trauma center with an average of 12 years of experience among ICU staff. The unit specializes in approximately 200 heart cases annually and offers advanced procedures such as CRRT, Impella, IABP, and ECMO.
