Senior Civil Engineer (12 + years experience)
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer to join our thriving engineering group in San Diego, CA. This role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement.
Core Duties
- Spearhead the full lifecycle of land development initiatives, guiding projects from initial vision to final construction.
- Coordinate various concurrent projects to ensure they are completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
- Execute complex technical civil designs, such as earthwork planning, mapping, and hydrologic analysis, to ensure project accuracy.
- Provide guidance to junior team members while facilitating collaboration across different technical disciplines.
- Engage directly with stakeholders to clarify project goals and build lasting professional partnerships.
Required Credentials
- Hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- Possess a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license, with a preference for California licensure.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 12 years of professional experience within the land development sector.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D effectively, with additional value placed on familiarity with San Diego County stormwater regulations.
- Communicate clearly and effectively to help balance competing project demands and deadlines.
