In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity for motivated professionals eager to apply their mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.### Duties* Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems according to schematics and design specifications* Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation and extend system lifespan* Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues using electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot mechanical systems effectively* Conduct equipment troubleshooting for refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration, plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical components* Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, fans, motors, valves, and electrical wiring while adhering to safety standards* Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide installation and repair processes* Maintain detailed service records, logs of repairs performed, parts used, and system performance reports* Ensure compliance with EPA regulations related to refrigerant handling and environmental safety standards* Assist with HVAC system design modifications or upgrades based on client needs or building requirements* Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly about system issues, repair timelines, and maintenance recommendations### Skills* Proven experience in construction or property maintenance with a focus on HVAC systems* Service technician experience with hands-on repair of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) equipment* Strong mechanical knowledge including familiarity with mechanical systems repair and HVAC system installation* Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and building automation system diagrams accurately* Skilled in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting electrical systems within HVAC units* Experience with equipment troubleshooting involving refrigeration cycles, ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, and appliances* Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, welders, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools* Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC applications including piping connections for refrigerants or water-based heating/cooling systems* Valid driver’s license (including driver if applicable) for field service operations across various sites* Certification in EPA refrigerant handling is required; additional certifications in HVAC design or electrical systems are advantageous* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clientsJoin us if you’re passionate about delivering top-tier HVAC solutions!
