You will work with patients in a skilled nursing facility recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree or relevant diploma in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program. Active Wisconsin PTA license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to the assignment start. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred. Client preference: candidates who can begin assignments quickly. Preferred Qualifications Prior travel PTA experience. Experience with common skilled nursing interventions, documentation systems, and restorative programs.
